RPS Energy
holds regular progress review meetings and organizes a mid-project
peer review on all of the larger projects.
Our quality
control process includes having the draft findings, conclusions
and recommendations from all projects reviewed by an RPS Energy specialist,
who has not been intimately involved with the majority of the
work.
This final
review provides a constructive critique and a sounding board
for the lead specialists and Project Manager. The reviewer is
asked to determine whether:
- The Conclusions
are reasonable and appropriate; and are adequately explained
to readers that are unfamiliar with the details.
- The
Recommendations are practical; and appear to make sense within
our understanding of the client’s business setting and
objectives.
If there
are complex issues that may need to be handled delicately with
certain stakeholders, the reviewer provides a second opinion
on the validity of the findings, and can advise the Project
Manager on how this might be addressed with the client representative.
In some cases, a draft report will be issued to the client and/or
the findings will be reviewed with the client’s team prior
to finalization of the report.
RPS Energy sees this Technical Review Process as a critical and integral
part of every project that enhances our ability to meet our
client’s needs and to ensure that we provide practical
solutions to the complex problems.
